Scully and Mulder Together at Last?

The body of her relationship with long-time boyfriend Mark Griffiths wasn’t even cold when rumors started to circulate that actress Gillian Anderson was dating her former X Files co-star David Duchovny. According to gossip site Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Scully and Mulder have been shacking up in his L.A. home.

Jane Adams “>writes: “A source exclusively told [Celebrity Dirty Laundry] that David and Gillian have been in a serious relationship for some time now and she and her children are shacking up with the Californication actor.” She points to an interview Anderson gave the Sunday Times magazine:

I ask if she has a partner at the moment. Her answer is peculiar. “Um — yes — umm umm.” There is a long pause. “Say yes,” she stutters finally.

Is this one we know about, I say, the father of the two youngest children, or a new one? “Umm, no, no — why do you ask me?” she counters.

According to the gossip site, the romance has been going on for some time. MSN’s Wonderwall blog isn’t so sure — they contacted Duchovny’s rep, who told them nothing was going on. They’re just “good friends.”

Nice try, Cigarette Smoking Man. We’re onto you.

If that last X Files movie ever makes it into production, this could get really, really interesting.
